I think I've unravelled it.  John, as has been said, was the son of John of Coedceimion.  He was son of Edward of Gelligaledfach (Llannon) and he was son of Edward of Felinfach.  So, at the time of John's banns in 1811 his uncle - yet another John - was at Felinfach.  I wonder if anyone has a photo of this farm.  It was pulled down about 2003 and there is a new house on the site today.
