In case anyone is interested I have just had an email from
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk to say that records are now available on-line regarding people seeking exemption from military service in Scotland from 1916 to 1918.
They are searchable by Name, address etc and for a limited period until 3rd December the cost will be 10 credits per record and after that it will be 20 credits ( a block of 30 credits costs £7.00).
