Caroline Sophia Nesbit/Nisbet Jude (1876 - 1956) married George Telfer (died bef. 1956)
Married 31 Dec 1920.

Caroline was my relative, daughter of Martin William Jude (1852 - 1916) & Dorothy Clark (b c1853)

Caroline died at 144 Summerhill Rd, Partick.

The surname Gallagher features in the family.

I would be interested in any connections with the above & an old photo of 144 Summerhill Rd please.

Hi ammack, are you sure you have the right address. There is a Summerhill Road in Drumchapel,   I could be wrong but I don't think there is such a road in Partick...

Sorry I didn't pick up your reply sooner.

I am unsure of the whereabouts now of Summerhill Road?

The death was registered in District of Partick, Burgh of Glasgow

In the column which has "Where & when died" it reads;

44 or 144 Summerhill Road, Glasgow

I just assumed it to be Partick (being where it was registered) & hadn't given any thought to it being elsewhere so it may well have been Drumchapel?

Caroline's death was registered by Jas (James) Gallagher (Son-in-Law)

A closer look, I think it's 44 & what I thought was a "1" is just a score out?

Caroline & George (b c 1872) were married 1920 in Barony Parish Church, registered St. Rollox, Burgh of Glasgow

Address for Caroline, 2 Athole Gardens, Glasgow (aged 38)
Address for George, 164 Keppochhill Road, Glasgow (aged 48)

George's parents;

William Telfer (Carter) & Elizabeth Ramsay (both deceased at time of marriage)

Hi Annie. I think you are right...seems to be 44.  St Rollox is in the district  of Springburn /Sighthill.
They would come under Glasgow.  As would Athole Gardens which is in the West End of Glasgow.                                   
Lincoln Avenue,Keppochill Road are in Knightswood, also Glasgow.
Maybe if you try Scotlandspeople  website ,  information could be traced through addresses.           Good luck hopefully you silk

Oops!   Your right imber ...another senior moment, l didn't mean to include Keppochill in with Lincoln Avenue.  I had another look at certificate , its not connected to query. The connection seems to be Springburn.   Do you know if Deaths were registered in Partick for the District of Glasgow,   l thought they were registered at Martha Street in Glasgow.   Summerhill Road in Drumchapel scheme was built as an overspill  for Glasgow. Not quite certain what you mean about deaths for Glasgow being registered in Partick. There were numerous registration districts in Glasgow. One of those was Partick.
