Searching Parents of John Hornby

John Hornby born c1788 married Mary Dickinson at Holy Trinity Hull on 18.3.1811. I have her parents but cannot find any record of his.

Does John appear on 1841 or 1851 census? 1841 should show if he was born in the county or not, 1851 should show a birthplace.

I believe John died about 1836 and so does not appear on 1941 census.

ArchBishop of York Marriage entry for John Hornby to Mary Dickenson shows Johns age as 23yrs born 1788 and Mary Dickenson Age 22yrs born 1789 of Parish of Preston, so Bapt in St Mary Hull 1788 for John could be the correct one.,

Found the marriage entry in Holy Trinity which was very very faint, but reads as follows,
Entry No 515 Holy Trinity, Hull Marriages,
John Hornby of this Parish, Labourer, and Mary Dickinson, Spinster of Preston, married by Licence 18th March 1811, Witnessed by Wm Dodsworth & Jeremiah  Dodsworth.
