Johnson Coffeetree; civilian prison of war - died in Germany, 1916

Hello,

Trying to find information on Johnson Coffeetree.

His name is variously [mis]spelt:

Johnson Coffeetree;
Johnson Coffee-tree;
Johnson Coffeethee;
Jonson Coffeetree; and
Jonson Coffee-tree

I believe he was originally from Cape Town.

The only other information I have is that he worked in the theatre (maybe as an agent); was living in Germany at the outbreak of WW1; interned at Ruhleben Camp (outside Berlin), where he died aged 54 in 1916.

These file are held in the Archives in Pretoria.
