Hutchinson - Leads Yorkshire
« on: Friday 27 November 15 18:08 GMT (UK) »
Hi hoping someone can help with a lookup and some information on the Hutchinson family.
I have Sarah Hutchinson marrying Samuel Sugden 26 Mar 1793 at Saint Peter Leeds Yorkshire can someone confirm this is correct? Also I have Sarah's father as Anthony but no mother. Anthony I think was also baptised Leeds Yorkshire, probably at the same parish. I think this branch of the Hutchinson family my have come from Durham but can't confirm. Can some one help would appreciate it thanks

Hi there

familysearch shows the marriage of Sarah and Samuel at St Peter Leeds in 1793 ( transcribed from bishops transcripts) https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N2MN-6YM

If you have the right father for Sarah there is a marriage also on familysearch for an Anthony Hutchinson and  Mary Carter 9 Feb 1756 St Peter  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NVBJ-63X

Hi thanks for your reply. I saw the Antony and Mary marriage some time ago but didn't think that it was the right one as I have the first child of Anthony being born and baptised in 1760 so I thought it seemed a long space of time from the marriage in those days. The parish church seems the right one. Might be a first marriage!
