Gertrude Mary Cummins born 6 Nov 1903 petitioned for naturalization in 1956 in the US District Court at Brooklyn, New York.  Her address at that time was 20-50 52nd St., Astoria, New York.  Patrick Joseph Cummins born 15 Jan 1908 and living at the same address petitioned for naturalization at the same time.

Dathai, Shellesq, Sinnan - thanks so much for this, fill in lots of gaps on my tree.  Coincidently, I moved to NYC in the 90's and my first address was just 3 blocks from the 52nd st address where Gertrude [my great Aunt] had lived.

Hi,  following up on Gertrude Cummins (prev Baxter and née Daly); I know that Gertrude died in 1994 in Elmhurst, Queens but can't locate where she is buried.  Similarly I'd like to locate where her husband Patrick Cummins who died in 1986 is buried.

Any guidance would be much appreciated as always.

Assuming they both died in New York City, those deaths are too recent for someone who is not an immediate relative to obtain a death certificate.

There are many cemeteries in Queens and the vicinity, and many do not have information online.

Obituaries are also very hit-or-miss for people in that area.  Some people didn't have one, and some newspapers do not have obituary archives from that time frame online.
