found a reference to liddells in my family tree research wonder did not know it was a scottish name ad also wonderd if its relative to todayd=s lidls  advertising on t.v. today?.

Liddell or Liddle is  a Scottish surname but, Lidl as in the  supermarket chain is a German firm
