Any info on the Gurney family of Luton ancestors of William Eric Gurney born 1907.thankyou.

Looks like parents William Gurney born 1876 Luton carpenter  son of Peter Gurney carpenter and Ann Gurney born 1849 Biggleswade and 1848 Luton.Possible marriage Dec 1865 Biggleswade to Ann Skinner.
Peter's parents William Gurney and Ann Brown married Biggleswade 3.11.1841.

and Minnie Wheeldon/Wheelan born 1881 Luton daughter of Amos straw hat maker born 1843 Leagrave Beds and Hannah nee Cister born 1851 St Leonards Bucks.Married Luton St Mary 21.3.1880,fathers James and Thomas.
Amos had been married previously to a Jane Munday 25.5.1862 Luton

William Gurney may have died 4.10.1916 at home in Luton Corporal Royal Engineers.

One of the dangers of multiple posts in a two day period on the same family is that effort is duplicated, and we all run around like headless chickens.
