The day I was able to track what happened to Alexander and where he was resting was so incredible.

How the grounds and the memorial Stone has been kept was amazing and I thank the curators for doing such an amazing job. To the volunteers that took the photograph for me all I can say is they do an incredible volunteer effort ,for those of us that would never ever have had the chance to feel close to someone in our family I thought was just a memory. I wish so many other countries took that same pride :). Would someone please let me know how I can upload a picture ty.

Yes, the volunteers who take these photos do an amazing job.

Maybe you already know/have seen this - he is honoured in the Memorial Book at the Scottish National War Memorial, Edinburgh Castle.

It does give you a special feeling when you get such information on someone in your family who made the ultimate sacrifice.
