and then I can get the Cheese family back to
William Cheese bpt circa 1570 in Bridgnorth, Shropshire mar Elizabeth Stinton 13/8/1599 St Leonards, Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Yes, can't get pass William Overfield. He just seems to appear in Bridgnorth when he marries Mary. There are Overfields in Yorkshire but no link so far 

Did you know about the Overfield murder in 1823?

Haven't really followed the Cheese line back as I couldn't be sure if Mary Cheese was the daughter of William and Elizabeth C1724 or John and Elinor C1730-were you able to eliminate/prove one of the Marys?
