Seward family Listowel
« on: Sunday 13 December 15 14:22 GMT (UK) »
Hello. I am seeking any connection with the Seward family from Listowel area of Co. Kerry. My Great Grandfather Simon Seward was age 25 in 1901 Irish census. He resided with his family (father also named Simon)in the parish of Finuge around 2 miles from Listowel. In October 1901 he emigrated to holyoak in Massachuttess. If any connection to this family exist i would dearly love to make contact. I plan to visit Co. Kerry around Christmas week of 2015. Many thanks for any assistance. Regards.

Some newspapers have a section for such requests...  http://www.kerryseye.com/  might be worth a try

Hi,  my paternal grandfather was James Seward from Finuge, his father was William. I have just re started researching into the Seward family and the Simon’s keep appearing.  I’m sure I have seen a  marriage certificate for William confirming Simon was his father,  however in knowing how small Finuge is I’m sure there is a connection.
