Sarah Malsbury, born Londonderry about 1816?

I have had some success with my quests for information regarding Amphlett in Gloucestershire and Dancer in Northamptonshire but have hit the wall concerning my 3 x great grandmother, Sarah Malsbury, (married John Dancer 1834) who, according to Census records, was born in Londonderry about 1816.
Until now I had simply assumed that Sarah was Irish, but more knowledgeable people have pointed out that "Malsbury" is not an Irish name and it is, in fact, a traditional South Northamptonshire name.
Hence my post. Can anyone assist with possible information regarding Sarah's birth and parentage, please? Perhaps her father was a soldier, stationed in Northern Ireland? I have discovered a "Melsbury" aboard HMS Victory in 1803, but I think that is drawing a rather long bow. Perhaps she was born out of wedlock? Perhaps her family was resident in Derry at the time of Sarah's birth and she/they returned or moved to Northamptonshire where she was wed?
I would be grateful for any information, advice, thoughts or theories, please.

You don’t say what denomination Sarah was but I’d guess Church of England, which is the Church of Ireland in Ireland. You could search for her baptism. If born in the city of Londonderry then she’s likely to have been baptised in St Columb’s Cathedral. Their baptism records go back to 1642. There’s a copy in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast. Parish is Templemore.

Thanks, Elwyn. Yes, I think she probably was C of E as she married John Dancer in an Anglican church in Middleton Cheney. I will get straight on to PRONI. Thank you also for narrowing down the possible Church and Parish. Cheers ... John

Yes, rathmore, this is indeed "my" Sarah - thank you for the link to the McPherson story. May Ann was the sister of Raymond (later known as George) Dancer, the father of my grandmother. John Dancer was indeed a village grocer.
More evidence that Sarah was born in Londonderry but I can find no record of her birth, parentage or early life.
Elwyn's suggestion that she may appear in a listing on PRONI was gratefully received but, sadly, I could find no record.

Many thanks, rathmore, this was my starting point and, in conjunction with Census returns, aroused my initial interest in trying to work backwards to establish more information regarding Sarah's birth and  parentage. Sarah's Irish birth is the puzzle and I have now written to PRONI in the hope that there is a birth record among their archives. Best wishes ... John
