Request: Scottish Brewing Archive Association - Glasgow
« on: Sunday 20 December 15 02:06 GMT (UK) »
Merry Christmas everyone!  :D

To anyone in or near Glasgow, have you ever been to the Scottish Brewing Archive Association? I wish to confirm my grandfather's employment records at McEwan's during the 1940s/50s, but sadly the SBAA's data is not online and so I would have to book an appointment and go in person. This is way out of my 'catchment area' so to speak.

If anyone lives near the SBAA and would be willing to go as my proxy then I'd be hugely grateful, as it would save me the price of an expensive return train ticket for the sake of an hour's research.

Their website is: http://scottishbrewingarchive.co.uk/

Many thanks,

James

I don't think the SBAA can be visited so to speak. Rather it would be necessary to visit the Scottish Brewing Archive at Glasgow Univeristy:
