1841 he is in Grantham, Lincs, Occp Cordwainer, not born in County, as Wm Leach age 19

I haven't got marriage certificate.

His wife belongs in my line and I'm just poking around. I discovered today that he was convicted of extortion and was transported to Western Australia for 25 years in 1857. Just trying to join some dots.

Thanks for that. I've got everything on Mary Jane Lee except that I lose her after the 1861 census. Can't find a marriage or a death under maiden or married name.

I have also checked the Western Australia marriage and death indexes without success but at least I found the daughter and now know what happened to her husband.
