BIRD family of Aberlady

I'd like to find out something of this family. My great Aunt, Agnes Maillie married into the family. When her brother, James Armour Maillie and his wife, Agnes Robb died, Aggie Bird and her husband took the children in and raised them.

Can you give some details as to a timescale please?  When did Agnes Maillie marry into the Bird family and what was her husbands christian name?
