hi all
I have been trying to find out abit more about George brown I have spoken to my auntie due to her age she cant remember a lot he married leah owen in 1920 in Dudley and she thinks they had a daughter called sally I would like to know where George  was born and  where  came from is family came from to

There is no Sally born to parents with those names as far as I can see before the 1960s.

With such a common name as George Brown, and given that it is after the last census, you may need to get the marriage certificate. That would give you his age and his father's name and occupation and you may then be able to find him in 1911.

According to 1901/11 census...there is a Leah Owen born 1896 Rowley Regis

An online tree shows her to be born Leah Biggs (bc 1881) and marrying a John William Owen in 1899.

A copy of the 1920 marriage certificate is the way to go.
