Burial place of Evan Evans Trawsgoed Lannor.
« on: Wednesday 30 December 15 16:47 GMT (UK) »
Evan Evans, Trawsgoed, Llannor, died 7th Sept 1840.  He does not show as being buried in Llannor Church.
A daughter Margaret was christened 7/12/1812, Pwllheli Penlan/ Llangian Capel Newydd Baptism record RG/3484.
Another daughter Margaret was christened 1/8/1816 Pwllheli Penlan/ Llangian Capel Newydd Baptism record RG/3485.
I have assumed that the first Margaret died before 1816 but I can not find her burial either.
I would like to find out where they were buried but not knowing the area I do not know where to look next. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thank you

1841 has Evan Evans aged 65 so born 1775 (+/- 3)
and       Elizabeth Evans aged 60. I have not tried to find out anything regarding her yet.

I have looked again at the will, date of death is 1850.
SCREAM, have I spent a whole day searching for the impossible?

Hi malijibic,

This has nothing to do with Evan Evans's burial.

I have come across a Will for William Prichard Ty du from 1858 where Mary Evans of Trawsgoed is a beneficiary. It might be of interest if you haven't already seen it. Look at ID890 on the link below.

Thank you, every snippet of information is a help.
And a big thank you for reminding me of the wealth of information there is on YFfor website.
