looking for my family quilligan cork area ???

looking to findout where my greatgrand mothers family may be in the cork area my great grand mother was from a very large family her name was katherine quilligan i believe her mother was bridget and her father was patrick paddy quilligan they had 7 or 8 daughters and i think 2 to 3 sons the only son i know of was simon that came to the usa did not like it here and came home to rathkale or the cork area my grand father met him in the early 50s when my dads family travelled to ireland and they spent a few hours in the pub chating befor leaving all of my grand fathers aunts all came to the usa but one went home her name was annie and i know she married a sheraton man and had 19 kids to went on to live in the usa a son named patrick called patty and a daughter named bea i think the son is in to antiques and owns property outside of rathkale i hope this message finds the right people as some day i would love to see the resting place of my family as i dont know a thing about that side of my family

If you could give us an idea of dates it would help a lot.
Katherine for example, have you any idea when she would have been born?

she was born around 1905 i think as my grand father was born in 1915

If she is your grandfather's mother she has to be older than that.
There are a few Katherine Quilligan's born in both Cork and Rathkeale, what was her married name?

i really dont know the year she was in her teens when her sister brought her to the usa then she married my great grandfather not long after

rafferty her husband was james andrew rafferty they called him andy he passed when my grand father was 10 or 11

her sister names that i know of were bridget the oldest then there was mary but called molly my grand mother katherine  her sister annie the youngest was margaret but they called her peg i cant think of her other sisters names i am sorry
