Hi There,

Looking for some information on the parents of Metcalf Graham Steel(e). I have information on his marriage, children & death. But not much on parents or siblings.

He was christened on Apr 12 1751 son of Joseph Steel. There is a death for a Joseph Steel of Pickhall Sep 5 1775. These come from the The Registers of Pickhill-cum-Roxby.

The only other Steel(e) listed is 1783 Geo: Smith, par. Aisgarth, & Eliza Steele of this par. by licence ]\ yi.
Possibly his wife remarrying? Or a daughter?

Can anyone find any clues to Joseph's wife or other children?
