1897 Southampton to Africa
« on: Thursday 07 January 16 23:45 GMT (UK) »
Just wondering if anyone can tell me please about the Union Castle Line ship the Dunolly Castle, which left Southampton on 24 or 28 Feb 1897. I can't remember where it arrived, and on what date. Was it Algoa Bay, or Port Elizabeth? It's a while since I've looked at this, and have cancelled all of my subs.

Thank you. :)

Hi,
Yes it was Algoa Bay, the seem to have travelled several times and also to Cape Town.

Thanks Maggie. It was the voyage in 1897 that I was most interested in.
