John Wood bn Grantham 1859 wed a Sarah A but can not find any records at all, she from Corringham , Lincs,  1881 John is Lodger in house of David & Sarah A Langton, it looks like she ran off with John Wood, because they are together in the next census but with children,

could you try and find the marriage for me please, the year range must be 1881 up to 1891, they are possibly just living as man & wife ?

Ref. No 1891 census for anyone else looking
RG12; Piece: 2734; Folio: 66; Page: 14

Did John marry again?

On 1901 c RG13; Piece: 3217; Folio: 58; Page: 9 there's a

Sarah J E Wood dau 17 Derby with
John Wood 42 Grantham Iron Dresser and his wife
Agnes A 36 London
William son 10 Derby &
Florence S dau 1 Derby

Agnes is widowed according to latest census

Presumably his death entry

John Wood age 52 1911 Jan-Feb-Mar Derby Volume: 7b Page:   345

Edited wrong marriage

Mar 1901 Belper   7b   749
WOOD John Thomas
on same page
HOLMES Agnes Hannah
The district Belper is in the county of Derbyshire

You may have to obtain Sarah's 1884 b/c to confirm mother's maiden name

There is this entry

Jun 1884 Chesterfield    7b   1165
WOOD John
name on same page
BATTY Sarah Ann
The district Chesterfield is in the county of Derbyshire

the only way to confirm would be the 1884 b/c for Sarah to confirm her mmn

ADDED - this appears to be Sarah Jane E Wood
birth entry if you wish to obtain b/c to confirm mmn

Had a look at Sarah Ann marriage to David Langton to find a maiden name to see if that would help, there is a marriage in 4th qtr 1870 Gainsboro, Sarah Ann Noble to David Langton'

1871 Census has David Langton and Sarah Ann living at Park Street, Winterton, Glanford Brigg. Sarah Ann's year of birth 1851, place of birth Corringham. David's occupation: cordwainer. So Sarah Ann birth year is a little out to that on the 1881 Census.

Still looking for the Wood marriage :)

I really don't intend to upset, but I have brilliant sunshine and at this moment in time watching a Red Kite soar above the village green.

Looking into this Sarah A TRAVES from 1881 census to see if it leads anywhere I've only located her on 1881 census so far. she's born c1852 Corringham

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QKXD-X62W

This appears to be her birth entry Corringham is in the registration district of Gainsbro

Dec 1853 Gainsbro  7a 590
TRAVIS Sarah Ann

However there is a marriage which might be her in 1884 Gainsbro
Sarah Ann Travis
males names
George Amos Currier or Henry Maltby

Although I've mentioned before the only way to be absolutely certain of their mother's maiden name
is by purchasing either the b/c of Sarah Jane Eveline or William Wood
