Hugh Gallagher died 3rd June 1962 Connecticut

Hi all, I have found a death notice, partially visible, in The Bridgeport Post newspaper on 5th June 1962 for Hugh J Gallagher, of 104 Ruane Street, Fairfield CN. Can anyone find any other death notices or obituaries for this gentleman, or indeed any other information.
I'm fairly sure I have located him in the 1910 US census, boarding at 189 West 15th Street NY with 2 of his brothers.
I then located him in the 1940 US census living at 104 Ruane Street with his wife Sarah and 2 children.
And now his death notice at the same address.
Any additional information or help would be greatly appreciated.
He was my Grandfather's brother.

Strangely enough, I used to live off Ruane Street in the mid-60s and just last night decided to search online for my old house and school

This might be the notice you found? It might be the only newspaper notice- he died sometime on Sunday so perhaps arrangements weren't finalised in time for Monday's paper.

Hugh J. Gallagher Services for Hugh J. Gallagher, SO[?], of 104 Ruane street, Fairfield, who died Sunday, will take place tomorrow at 8:15 a.m. Robert E. Hennessy the funeral home. 2936 Main street, and at S[?] o'clock in St. Thomas church, Fairfield, with a solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.

I did find one birth announcement for a grandchild in March 1962.

RJ, I have now looked through all your links, thanks again. Great information.
I didn't know that Hugh had married twice and that his first wife was called Annie (McHugh) Gallagher. Can I ask you where you found the information that Annie's maiden name was McHugh?
My Aunt, a Gallagher, married a McHugh, my uncle by marriage a long time after Hugh's first marriage, so it appears the cycle and circle of life continues in that part of rural County Donegal.
