Yes Dathai - that looks good for Elizabeth Jane's possible death. What a shame - they hadn't been married long - may have been childbirth.

As her father, Hugh Morrison, was the Retired Head Constable - there may be something in the Irish on-line newspapers about her death.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Excellent! So we've reached William Hanna, born early 1800s. I'm looking into this line for a friend & he'll be keen to see the progress you've made.
Many thanks to all for the assistance,
Bob

I've dropped my pal's rough tree back to him, but I do recall he said there were a lot of mixed marriages in his families.

Also another piece to the puzzle

I think that James HANNA had a daughter with Elizabeth Jane MORRISON
His address is shown as Belfast on a transcription of their marriage in Drum CoI Co. Mayo in 1892

This is a link to a 1901 census record for a Hugh MORRISSON who has his granddaughter Elizabeth HANNA aged 7 living with him - she is shown as born in Belfast

I cannot immediately see her in 1911 but will stay looking

edited to add
Bob
I think that this is Margaret MORRISSON widowed living with her son Samuel on the 1911 census in Gortnaraby, Crossmolina, South, Mayo

Samuel MORRISSON Constable s/o Hugh (Head Constable) married Nov 7 1888
Prudence Alice OST d/o John (Chief Boatmad) in Achill, Co. Mayo

A Catherine MORRISSON is also shown on the census as a sister, aged 41, which implies she has aged a little if correct! No sign of Elizabeth however.

LINK to civil record references for children of second marriage - it looks possible that they had two children named James
