Hmmm, can't seem to find this street on any map of Ely. Anyone happen to know where it is? According to the census it was in the parish of St Mary's.

I don't know when it changed but apparently it is now called Silver Street.

This article gives both names directly and you can gleam from other articles that it must be in the same place without actually knowing it is the same place if you follow

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Yep, that's clear and definitive enough for me. Thanks.
