Leicester Burial
« on: Saturday 16 January 16 09:51 GMT (UK) »
I have a 'stray' born in 1801 I Uttoxeter who by 1841 was in Leicester.  He married in 1847 at the deacon lane Baptist chapel and both he and his wife Jemima are buried in Welford Road. They lived in Queen Street. I know William's parents are Samuel and Elizabeth BLADON (var) but I don't know if they lf moved from Uttoxeter with younger son Thomas or just William.  Samuel had died by 1847 he was a machinist at a factory.

Does someone have access to Leicester city burials 1803-1847 who can search for any Bladon/Bladen/Blaydon/Blayden entries?

Hi

The Samuel burial is the one baptised in 1755 I don't think he is the father - from other evidence I have.  'My' Samuel is the 1765 baptism at Uttoxeter.  The Elizabeth in 1835 could well be his mothers burial as the age fits with Samuel b1765.  This is what I am trying to discover, which Samuel married Elizabeth Bull in 1799 and has William 1801 and Thomas 1803!
