Dear all,There is an 1851 E census record for St Anne Soho,London for Edward Neath b.Huntingdonshire aged 26,wife Martha b.1823 Herefordshire and son Charles Neath aged 5 b.St James Westminster.I found a marriage in jan 1846 in London between Edward Neath and Martha Parry.Does anyone have a record for the birth of an Edward Neath in Huntingdonshire and the parents of Edward Neath?regards to all Ivorglyn

Edward Neath, Cheesemonger, son of Richard Neath, Bailiff married Martha Parry, dau. of George Parry, Labourer on 25/1/1846 St. Anne Soho, Westminster both single and of full age.

1851 census shows Richard bc.1789 Haddon, Hunts. - Elizabeth born Notton, Rutland.

Can't find relevant records in Huntingdonshire but this counties online records not good.

Have found Richard's baptism on familysearch - more by luck than judgement.

It seems (at least with baptisms between 1780 and 1795) that the majority seem to have no surname for the child so have been indexed by Christian name only!!!

Richard bp.1788 (no full date given) Haddon, Huntingdonshire son of Thomas Neathe and Hannah.
plus 3 siblings (again, with no full date)
Thomas bp.1778
John bp.1782
William bp.1792
