Thank you dathai for all the information you sent earlier today, which is really appreciated. Would you have any idea where Jane might be buried, with dying in Monaghan, as I would really like to find this out, thanks too for Thomas's death details.
With Janes death now definitely 1853/54,  the other Jane Elizabeth Kilroy mentioned, could she be a relative? I realise many people aged more than 10 years after introd of the Old Age Pension, but the 1901 said Jane and 2 of the girls religion were The Irish Church, though the 1911 census for the Stratford family is Church of Ireland. Looking at the information about Janes father, John Kilroy and his wife Catherine, was their religion also The Irish Church and if so, could Jane have changed religion if they're the same person? I was a bit confused about Jane Killroy aged 50 from Parish Ballymachugh, as I have Janes surname as Kilroy, and wonder if they the same and if so, how they are connected, would be really grateful if you can let me know.
Re. the Stratford family, my correct family line from the 1821 census are from Kilgolagh/Kelgola, many thanks for sending that on.  Thomas's father was Mark Stratford, b. 1801 Kilgolagh, Co.Cavan d.1869 (who married Thomasina Ferguson) they also had Robert b.1804, Andy b.1805, Thomas b.1806, Mary b.1802,Judith b.1807,Sidney Nancy b.1811. Re. Mark b.1801-1869 his father was also called Mark b.1778 and mother I think, called Judith.
Re. Katherine/Kathleen Jane Hunter (maiden name Stratford) who married John Thomas Hunter, thanks for all  previous information abt their marriage and her death, would you know if their farm bought mid 1920s was anywhere near Dromard (close to Cavan)as would really like to find this out too.
Thanks again for all your help with this.

"Irish Church" is Church of Ireland
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thank you dathai and aghadowey for all your information, I hadn't realised the Irish Church was the Church of Ireland.
Realised from your information about Jane Elizabeth Stratford who married Joseph Knight Stratford that he is another branch of my Stratford family, connected through his mother who was called Mary Ann Ferguson, who had married my Gt.Gt Grandfathers (Marks) brother who was called Thomas Stratford,  (she was also another sister of my Gt Gt grandmother, Thomasina Ferguson and her sister, Martha Anne)
A lot of the Stratfords and Ferguson brothers and sisters married each other, and a lot of the names were the same, which is why I've found this confusing! many thanks for your help with this, which is brilliant.

Mother Catherine Kilroy appears to be buried Glasnevin 1892
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FTCG-S2N
however the Glasnevin index says aged 61 it is an extended grave meaning she is buried with others though not necessarily related, you can get a full read out of the grave for about 10euro online or ring them they may give you some info as to whether there are any relatives also in grave.
http://www.glasnevintrust.ie/genealogy/results/index.xml
If you enter her name for 1892 it will come up without address then enter Spencer Street in address box and press search button again her name still comes up.

now i had similar with one of my great grand fathers his son was informant on his death cert and his daughter in law was informant for his burial in Glasnevin both gave completely different ages for his death

A good resource if you can find a contact, can be Church of Ireland records in the particular church in question.
