Enoch Ashton Jones "Ship Caronia 1913" arrived New York

I am after information on "Enoch Ashton Jones" born Cheshire England 1870 was living in Hoylake, England.

Went to America 1913 was a brick layer.  I had a look at the 1920 and 1930 Census but unable to find him.

Based on the Passenger List in 1913 he was intending to work in Toronto
 
However Cheshire BMD index lists a death for an Enoch Ashton Jones age 59 in Bebington,Wirral in 1929.    Did he return??

Edit- There is  an online WW1 Service Record for an Enoch Ashton Jones b 1870 - Spouse - Sarah Annie Mann - Marriage  27 Sep 1899 - Liverpool
Residence   1918 - 15 Back View, Hoylake
