Quaker FHS Transcription Project - Volunteers Requested
« on: Sunday 24 January 16 20:15 GMT (UK) »
Over the last few months, the Quaker Family History Society has been looking at starting up a transcription project with a view to beginning our own set of publications.

The books would be print on demand to avoid a costly print run and we are currently referring to them as the Quaker Transcription Series.

We have identified our first project and have approached the archive concerned with our proposal. Hopefully this will all be approved and we can then get our project off the ground.

However what we would really like to build on is the list of volunteers for the project. If you would like to be involved then we would love to hear from you.

We are also interested in anyone who might have transcribed something themselves connected to the Quakers and might like to consider their work being published as part of the series.

If you are interested in any of the above or have any questions about it, please do message me.

Best wishes,
Jon Wicken
