Hello. On dathai post with Maria's record, what does it say in the habitatos box please?which i assume means address?? this is fantastic stuff, glad i posted! Or is it occupation? Because William's says 14th Hussars. Also i have been lucky enough to get hold of william, as in William jnr born 1873, his officers service record. In it there is a copy of his birth certificate, on it says occupation of father, Private 6th Dragoons? Either he transfered to 14th Hussars in those few days, the 14th were in Newbridge at the time or he's using it as the address? Confused a bit now. Thanks for all the help so far!

Hello.
Just looked up William's birth, he was born on the 14th August 1873, not the 23rd as the baptism book says, the one with 14th Hussars on it. is this the right William? And his army record says C of E? ??? I would also love to know if the birth certificates of Richard and Mary have a unit on them.

Thank you all again, you've all been most kind
