Henry Adlam married first on October 15th 1854 living at Chester Street Bethnal Greeen and second time 29th October 1897  Born Wiltshire lived in 12 Albion Square Islington, London. He was a shirt maker and had many staff  ( 20 I think and also where he met his second wife half his age ooo er matron ) . Is it feasible to find out where his business's were located . I know it's a long shot and may not have even been under his name but I know how wonderful you experts are on here so thought I would ask.

Not a shirt maker - he was a shirt-dresser per the censuses. Shirt dressers were also known as clear starchers - in the laundry business they would dress the collars and cuffs of shirts with starch.

He's listed under "Laundries" in the 1869 directory at 1 Lambeth Hill, EC. I'll check some more directories for you.
