Ahh, skoosh would certainly like it to be! This is Christina McVarish photographed by MEM Donaldson, curtesy of this great site here www.ornaverum.org/family/donaldson/mary-e-muir.html

This photo has haunted me for years. Have misplaced my book 'Moidart: Among the Clanranald' where I first saw it. I am beyond thrilled to have found it again whilst googling for it again & again just a few days ago ::), on OrnaVerum.

Morning
I've found the information, it was my son in law's stuff after all, if you keep something long enough, the hard part was remembering where it was, but have it.  Now, how are we going to communicate, too much information for Rootschat to get bogged down. Let me know please.

Hi Catto
Would definitely look to check your information on the McInnes family. I think there is a personal message link on Roots Chat so I'm going to work out how to use it and get in touch with you. If not I'll get back to you on the forum. Anybody else know how to contact members privately on Roots Chat ?

Hope you have figured out by now how to contact cattao. This is the direct link to send a private message (PM) to cattoe www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=106577

To send someone a message, either click on their username on the left and it will bring up another screen. On that, you will see the option to send a PM.

You can also click on the button on the left, under someone's name, the one that looks like it has a letter. This too takes you straight there.

Hi Monica, I have managed to work out the private message thanks. What sites have you been using to search your info you have been passing on to me.

Trish I have actually been able to get a copy of Archibald and Louisa McInnes marriage certificate as well as a copy of John Favel's birth certificate one of their sons born in Manuka Creek New Zealand. I got this info from the museum in Otago and they were very  helpful, can't remember the cost but it wasn't much. Now trying to find out when they arrived in New Zealand and when they left for Australia
