Thank you gaffy and aghadowey. I have now had the opportunity to review the information you have respectively identified. Its all good news from my perspective as each of the sources undoubtedly refer to the family I am researching. The variation in occupation for Thomas works as I remember my mother talking of him selling his milk round (and he was of course a bread server). I also recall references made to Loanends and Cairncastle as places where relatives had lived. Davis, Wallace and Cowan are all names that resonate with my older sister.
I will now get to work through the sources identified and  amplify the story!

If Thomas died in Ravenhill Avenue, perhaps he worked for the Co.Op.  The bakery was situated  on Ravenhill Avenue.
