Ooooooh ... that makes sense!

The Burrows and Gooding families are closely interlinked (Hannah Burrows was born a Gooding, and I am presuming that Harriett is her younger sister); Joseph's brother John lived in Coggeshall, and Hannah Burrows nee Gooding was born in Coggeshall. Coggeshall was a centre of the silk / lace industry, and I have Burrows girls in Coggeshall listed as "lace worker" at ages as tender as 11 in later censuses.

So it all fits. I'll go with Tambour Worker.
