Hegarty death

I recently found this information on rootsireland. It's saying that Hugh died in a hospital, can anyone tell me what the name of the hospital would have been at that time or if any records are available.

Rootsireland just has transcripts of some of the information on death certs. If you buy a photocopy of the actual cert from GRO Roscommon, you'll get the cause of death and a little more information, including possibly the hospital. (One possibility is that it was Letterkenny workhouse infirmary).  You can order a photocopy of the certificate from GRO Roscommon for €4 (euros).  http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/Apply-for-Certificates.aspx

You have to download and print off the form. Then either post or fax it back to them. You can’t e-mail it to them. However if you want them to e-mail the cert to back to you, they will do that, so tick the relevant box.

He might have been a member of the Letterkenny national league to do with evictions.

Part of this says - Father Drummond presided at the recent meeting at Letterkenny National league. The reverend president in pathetic language to the death of a member of the committe Hugh Hegarty of Lismonaghan.  Whether at the meeting of this branch he said, or in any other place where the principles of Nationality could be supported in advance,desceaded was always foound ready to give expression to the sentiments of his heart and to take the responsibility of his words or acts.  Hugh Gallagher then proposed and James Gallagher second the following resolutions which was unanimously agreed to. That having heard with deep regret of Hugh Hegarty's death, we fully endorse what has been said about him by the reverend chairman, and we tender his bereaved wife and family our heartfelt sympathy.
