UPDATE: My original question #4 has been answered. Burial records for Rev John Jones at St Gwynog, Llanwnog, give his date of birth as 19th April 1841. So his twin brother William would have the same birth date.
**
Why weren't John Jr and William on the 1841 Census? I still don't know. They could have been with wet nurses as suggested earlier.
**
As for John Sr and Elinor, I haven't found any more info. I keep getting leads on other branches (or twigs) of my tree. It's always interesting though, isn't it.
Thanks
Richard

UPDATE2:
My pal Jerry found a record in the 1841 census for Llanfihangel-ar-Arth with a John Jones 50 and an Elinor Jones 48 living in Pantglas. The youngest of their three children is Margaret aged 9.
**
There's a baptism record for Margaret d. of John Jones Pantglas by his wife Elinor born Feb 5th 1832; baptised March 14th 1832.
**
So ... I believe this is the couple, John Jones and Elinor, who married in or around May 1827. They are not OUR couple.
*
My great great grandparents John Jones and Elinor Thomas married once only on 12th June 1833 in Lampeter.
*
Their daughter Margaret was baptised only once on 8th December 1833 in Lampeter.
