My puzzle to solve is; who is R. Snook and when and where was she born?

From the Death Certificate of Herbert Cyril Snook who died 8 Nov 1956 in Whalley, Blackburn I have the informant as R. Snook; daughter living at the same address as Herbert.
The Certificate is typed out and good to read.

Herbert C. Snook married Valentine Kelly in 1927; I am still waiting for the certificate from the GRO which I ordered last week. I have not found any children for this marriage so am stuck again.


My puzzle to solve is; who is R. Snook and when and where was she born?

I have not found an entry on FreeBMD for a female R. Snook OR a R. Kelly should she have been born before the marriage in 1927.

Can anyone find the good lady for me?

I would check Snook births in 1939, and marriages in 1963!
R may be the initial letter of a second name

I have not seen another marriage but maybe possible

Herbert C Snook was in the Army and in 1920 with the Lancashire Police

In the meantime I have found a marriage for Mary R. Snook to Keith Todd 3q 1963 Clitheroe 10c 155 ( Did Mary change her names; i.e. R. Mary?

She was born 1q 1939 Watford 3a 1684 – mother’s name Kelly

If her mother was Vaentine Snook that maybe her.
