I am a direct descendant of the Golcher gun lock forgers.
William and Susannah (married 1792) are my 3rd great grand parents and James who was one of the starters of the Philadelphia gun lock makers was my 2nd great grand uncle (he was the son of William and Susannah above).

John, my apologies, just seen your reply.  I think we have talked years back (you in CA?).  Wondered if any of the descendents have taken dna tests?  Would be curious to see how that pans out.  I am the descendent of Joseph and Eleanor.  Thx
