A Freeguard in 1911
« on: Sunday 07 February 16 13:17 GMT (UK) »
I have been searching in vain for a Margaret Freeguard, b. Jenkins in Abergavenny in c.1847, in the 1911 Census. Probate gives her death in 1921 in Newport and she was clearly not detitute. I have searched family members to see if she was living with one of them, but with no success. One possibility is a nursing home in Newport but I don't know of any. Can any one help or advise? Thanks, Toby.

Thanks rosie99. The link gives some valuable help but my daughter when putting Michael ( or given name) and Hanley into Ancestry gets a zero. Looks like a page or household is missing. T

Misunderstanding. Hadn't though of Michael as a surname. Now I have it so many thanks. Gives me something else to think about. "Visitor" might have hidden "mother in law". Pity Margaret hadn't put marriage and children details which I have sometimes seen and then crossed out. Still, can't have every thing, T.
