No problem... BUT in that area he/she would possibly be/need to be an Irish speaker??

I would say so for the Irish
Up to the 1980s there were still some people in Connemara with little or no English

I am looking for the wedding certificate of John Thomas O'Malley and Margaret Mary Coyne. They both lived in Culfin, were  Roman Catholic and were married in either 1904-1905.  John's parents were Patrick O'Malley and Mary nee Kane. Mary's parents were Patrick McDonnell and Margaret Mary nee Coyne.  The wedding was not registered in the General Register Office. Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you for your help.

Where are they in 1901 census please?
Did they have children?

Would you just clarify Margaret Mary’s details please?

Sure!   I am looking for the marriage certificate for my great grandparents John Thomas O'Malley(15/7/1881-12/5/1962) and Mary McDonnell(McDonald) (11/6/1877-5/12/1918). I am not positive about Mary's birthday.  She may have been born a few years later.

In 1901 Mary lived in Culfin with her parents and is listed on the 1901 Census. Mary's parents were Patrick McDonnell and Margaret Mary nee Coyne.

John's parents were Patrick O'Malley and Mary nee Kane.  John listed Culfin as his last known address on his US Immigration paperwork in 1916 but I do not see him listed on the 1901 Census.

John and Mary O'Malley immigrated from Liverpool and arrived in Quebec Canada in October 1905. They were married at that point.

Margaret Mary 'Peggy' Coyne was Mary McDonnell's mother.  She was born about 1853 in County Galway Ireland and died March 11, 1935
Here is a link to my family's tree on Ancestry.  Thanks for any information you might be able to provide.

Thanks. It was just confusing with the names. You seem to have mixed up mother and daughter but I see now.

Possible birth for Mary - mother recorded as ‘Kyne’

I can’t see a marriage for them, but I can’t see a marriage for Mary’s parents either.

I had a quick search in English records too.
