I am trying to find out if a "James McCann" was born about 1864 at  Pomeroy
his father would have been "Francis McCann" and his mother "Bridget"

Pomeroy RC parish, baptism on 25th June 1863, "James of Francis & Biddy McCann", sponsors "Peter & Mary Grugan" (right page, bottom entry):

             Thanks for that  I was trying to connect the dots in my McCann family
my second Great Grandmother was Alice McCann her father and mother where Francis McCann and
Margaret Grimley.  I think this Francis MCann is a brother Alice he married Bridget McCulloch.

James McCann died in Australia 1945 his mother and father where listed as  Francis McCann and Brideget McCulloch.  So it starting to come together

             Thanks again  it looks like them, I know that Francis must of had a push bike because there is a child born in England and one Scotland.

Do you know any more info on the siblings of Francis McCann or his daughter Alice McCann?  I'm looking to see if an Edward McCann b late 1800-early 1900's married to Jane (Jennie) Doyle 06.04.1904.
