Does anyone know how I could find the call number for the record that Jean mentioned? Or the exact date of the marriage?
Diocese of Hereford marriage licenses 1747
John Probert to Sarah Ward both of Tenbury, Worcestershire but married in Herefordshire
When I try to search the Herefordshire archives, all I can see is that they hold the licenses. When I type things to try and search in the search boxes form all that happens is it refreshes the page with a blank form.
I would like to order a copy of the license but was told that it would be 20 pounds an hour for them to find out where the document is first, and then 2 pounds a page to send me copies. Its a wee bit pricey for me at the moment so I'd like to send as much info as possible.
Any help would be appreciated!
