ZWOLINSKI
« on: Monday 15 February 16 16:41 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for information on Zygmunt Zwolinski a Polish immigrant who was in the British Armed Forces but did not return to Poland after the war.  He was married to Letitia Mary Rohan and he died on 10th July 1967 at Ware, Hertfordshire.  I would appreciate any help or information on him.

Hello dawnsh,

He was one of those never to return to Poland and his Polish family was displaced due to conflicts with the Germans and the Russians.  They are now trying to find out what happened to them.  They have also sent me some photographs that I would like to pass on to his English family - if he ever had children.  The lady in Poland contacted me because I have a website covering the RAF Squadron in which he served.  So I would like to find out anything I can about him.

Have you tried here

http://www.polandinexile.com/addresses.html

http://listakrzystka.pl/en/?p=337100

It looks like 4 children were born to the marriage in Hertfordshire, 3 boys and a girl but I won't name them here as they are most probably still alive.

You can find their names by searching www.freebmd.org.uk

The boys names are so unusual you can search for them here

http://www.searchelectoralroll.co.uk/Electoral_Roll_Search.asp

if you need any help with the addresses please send me a personal message

Hello Dawnsh,

Thank you so much for your help.  As a result, I believe that I may have found one of his children and I am hopeful that something will come of it.
