I think more likely to be the one to Mary Ann Rocket in 1836 in Stepney, that op had found,

I agree, especially with the use of the name Rockett.

When Rosina marries Thomas Selman in 1874 she gives her father as Daniel Everest, shipwright

So I think that confirms it is the right family. I wonder whether the children kept in touch with other family members, as Rosina would probably have been too young to remember her parents and yet she knew her father and his occupation and knew her mother's maiden name was Rockett?

Maybe she kept in touch with her brother. Her Selman children and his Everest children (actually I haven't actually checked ot see if he had any!) would be cousins.

 blimey I can't say thank you enough for your time and effort I knew about rosinas brother although the sparrows is interesting as i didn'tknow tthat. I'm not sure if this was known about either side of the family but both Robert and rosina both had grandsons called Robert rockett!!!  One with surname West and the other everest they must of known each other surely.
