O'Hanlon St.Andrews (Boarhills)
« on: Thursday 18 February 16 13:37 GMT (UK) »
Need help looking for a distant relation. Not much to go on I'm afraid. Female surname O'Hanlon who was born and sadly died as a child in the Boarhills area of St. Andrews roughly 1950-1960. Any info on which cemetery she may be in would be very helpful. Thanks.

Looking at the birth and death index on Scotlands People the only one I can see within your criteria is a Williamina O'Hanlon who was born and died in 1957 in the St Andrews and St Leonards District

Hi ... found this ...

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=32191977&ref=acom
Birth:    May 28, 1957  Saint Andrews, Scotland
Death:    May 28, 1957  Saint Andrews, Scotland
Daughter of Patrick O'Hanlon and Jeanie Young

It is possible that the child was interred at Boarhills Church Cemetery, but it's quite small and, unless there's a family plot there ....

I believe Kirkcaldy Crematorium hold burial records for the area so it may be worth contacting them.

It's all a bit to "current" to find any records online, but hope this helps.

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Laing, Pearson, Tulloch ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!
