Thanks Rosie ;  so glad she didn't die young

My mother will be pleased that we've discovered another of her cousins

Thought the Hallis family blood  line had died out

 "Aunty" Edith died single
Aunt Harriet Broadfield /Evans only had 2 daughters who survived infancy
  Birkenhead

cousin Lucy Cookson nee Broadfield did not have any children
and  I believe cousin Lillian Broadfoield married several times but did not not have any children

A lot of information about the Hallis  family is on my sisters thread on Genes Reunited "Workhouse  Hallis boys"

Its a very long thread mixed with families of 2 HOLLIS brothers who turned out to be totally unrelated

and we didn't realise that  Martha Harriet Hallis/Broadfield /Evans
was actually the eldest daughter of Samuel Hallis the elderly gentleman  in the 1911 census
head of household with adoptive daughter Maisie aged 11 (my nana)

http://www.GenesReunited.com.au/boards/board/ancestors/thread/1300255?d=desc&page=0

there are no details on there about George Hallis , his wife Mary  or daughter Rose between 1901 and 1925
