Just looked at Elizabeth Robb on Ancestry.  She was born to Alexander Robb and Mary McQuillie in Kirkmadden, Wigtonshire.  Her husband George died in an asylum in Scotland.  Strange coincidence about the names of her parents.  Do you think there was a mistake when giving George's parents on his death?  Have you got Elizabeth's death cert in 1929?  Also, no sign of a daughter named Martha.

Hi Rosemary,
I have George Armstrong DC and as you say died of TB in Hartwood Asylum, Shotts, I have got Elizabeth DC also and never gave it a thought both parents could be mixed up, you think?
Martha Armstrong was born 10 December 1877 in Merryston, Coatbridge, Old Monkland, but the next child Alexander 1881 was born in Ireland, they had another 4 all born in Coatbridge.
regards
billy
