Looking for a possible marriage and a death for Francis Thomas Henry Blair Rowell......born 1905 West Derby I think  (for some reason Ancestry has his birth as 1855)......and also the marriage, if there was one, of his parents, Francis Evelyn Ayto Rowell and Lucretia Thompson Rowell......this could be a ''wild goose chase'' as his father, the above Francis Evelyn Ayto Rowell died in Argentina in 1960, in his will probate is granted to Frank Rowell and Lucretia Rowell de Cavanagh .....it then says ''in England''......any help appreciated.......Del.

Thanks for that......I can't seem to find a marriage for Francis senior and Lucretia, if indeed there was one.......I wonder if her maiden name was Thompson ?......There is a possibility that she was born in Edinburgh, although I cannot find her there......Del.

It is Administration (not Probate, so no Will) that was granted to B W trust Company, attorney of Frank Rowell and Lucretia Rowell de C.     Effects £6093 in England

So, this company of attorneys, working on behalf of Frank and Lucretia, are given the go ahead to Administer the assetts that Francis senior had in England.

She is Lucretia T Steel, 8 born Edinburgh, at 19 Henderson Terrace, Edinburgh in 1891 with parents Robert (43, commercial traveller b England) and Isabella L S (38 b Edinburgh) plus siblings.

They're still in Edinburgh in 1901, at 5 Brougham Place - "Lucretsia" 18 b Northumberland still with them.

Thank you.........These people travelled extensively.......they are on many passenger lists, mainly to and from Argentina.......I wonder if Lucretia's mother's  maiden name was Thompson. I will look on S.P.......Del.
