Ireland to Scotland Ship Passenger Lists pre 1832??

Would these still exist?   My ancestor settled in Glasgow perhaps prior to 1832 but I can't find any shipping records to see if he sailed from Ireland.

A far as I know there weren't any passenger lists for crossings from Ireland to England or Scotland.

It was, and still is, a short domestic journey. No passenger lists were ever kept for that sort of voyage.
